WELCOME TO VANAKA
My name is Nicolás. I was born in Argentina and have spent the past six years living in New Zealand, where I discovered my passion for woodworking through building campervans. Over time, this experience inspired me to start designing and creating furniture and homeware objects that reflect my love for craftsmanship and functionality.
Having lived in Wanaka for the past five years, I discovered the freedom to create and express my design vision. This experience has shaped my approach to furniture making, allowing me to experiment with unique designs and materials. I believe in creating with intention, which is why I focus on reducing material waste by transforming unfunctional or reclaimed wood into new, functional pieces. I am committed to using eco-friendly, natural-based finishing products in all my work.
Each piece I make reflects my dedication to quality and creativity. I hope my furniture brings as much joy to your space as it does to my workshop.
